For the purpose of the American League All-Star game, the following teams will comprise the North and South Divisions. These divisions were assigned prior to the beginning of the season.

NORTH: Cubs, Marlins, Twins, Yankees

SOUTH: Cards, Orioles, Red Sox, Rockies

Teams vote for representatives to the All Star Games and Batting Derbies.

The division's first and second place team's head coach will be the Head (1st place) and Assistant Coach (2nd place) for the AS game.
IMPORTANT: 1st and 2nd place STANDINGS as of JULY 1 (games played thru 6/30) will determine the coaches.
Those 2 coaches' sons/daughters are automatically on the roster.
