Maple Grove Senior High School Girls Fastpitch Varsity Head Coach Jim Koltes announces the First Annual Maple Grove Fastpitch Softball Camp. This will be an excellent opportunity for all levels of fastpitch players to get outstanding instruction during the summer months.
The camp will be led by Head Coach Jim Koltes and members of the Maple Grove Senior High Fastpitch coaching staff. It will be held at the Maple Grove High School fields from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on 14 dates (generally Mondays and Wednesdays) beginning June 11 and running through July 30, 2008.
The cost of this camp will be $125 per player with a 15% discount for families that sign up more than one player. Each player receives a T-Shirt included in the cost. The camp is intended for girls age 11 to 18.

- Proper Base Running, Stealing and Sliding
- Individual Position Skills
- Hitting
- Bunting, Push Bunting, Slap Hitting and Bunting from both sides of the plate
TRANSPORTATION: Players must provide their own transportation to and from softball camp.
WHAT TO BRING: Bring batting gloves, catching gear, bat, fielding gloves, and cleats. A water bottle is recommended. Please label all of your belongings.
