OMGAA BACKGROUND CHECKS

Starting with the 2009 season, in an effort to insure the safety of our players and the financial well being of OMGAA, we started a new background check process on all coaches, coordinators and board members. With player safety being one of our biggest concerns we have contracted a new vendor for this process. We chose Trusted Employees on the recommendation of other associations in the area. 

This company is Cybertrust Certified which means that they have cleared Credit Reporting agencies to have as much security (if not more) than a Credit Card Customer. They are fully bonded under the CFCRA and are members of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners.
 
Please know that no Credit information is taken or given to OMGAA. Your personal information is also never passed on to OMGAA, only the results of the background check. The only information that is looked at is Criminal Convictions with regards to crimes against youth or other persons. The reason that your Social Security number is needed is that it is the only thing that follows an individual from any name a person may be using or any state that one may have resided in.

This would include all Storm teams, the 16-19 Rec League and Babe Ruth.

This will include the 9 year old League, 10/11 American and 10/11 National League.

This would include 12/13 American and National Leagues and the 14/15 American and National Leagues.

This would include all Storm Fastpitch and OMGAA House Fastpitch Leagues.
