The 2024 Rookie League Season is complete.

This is a competitive kid-pitch league for boys currently in 2nd and 3rd grades.  All players will have equal opportunity to pitch in games.  Scores and team standings are kept.  The season culminates in a playoff tournament.  Teams are coached by volunteer parents.  

Teams will be formed based on schools and mutual friend requests. (For example: Billy indicates Tommy and Tommy indicates Billy) This is the only way friend requests will be honored. No team building. 

Games will begin (weather dependent) the first week of May.

Teams will usually play two games per week and coaches will schedule 1-2 practices per week at their discretion (another great reason to coach!)

The season will run from the beginning of May to the end of June.  

Coach pitch and tee ball options are available through the city of Maple Grove Parks and Recreation department.

The schedule for the 2025 Rookie League will be released in 2025.

Right now we are tentatively scheduling the end of year tournament for June 27, 28, and 29, and our All Star Game will take place on June 14th.

League play will begin (weather permitting) the first week of May.
