OMGAA House Girls Softball Fees

Games:

10U games are on  Tuesdays /Thursdays and everyone else is Mondays /Wednesdays.  

 

 

Practices:

Coach decides.

OMGAA HOUSE GIRLS SOFTBALL BREAKDOWN OF FEES: 

OMGAA House Girls Softball Registration Fee of $230 includes:

  • Standard Registration Fee of $230
  • No Travel Fees
  • No Tryout Fee 

In addition to the $230 for OMGAA house girls softball, the OMGAA Fundraising Fee of $200 per player with a maximum of $400 per family, will also be charged at the time of registration. 

The fundraising fee will be recuperated once your softball player sells their 10-20 cards for $20 each.  Lastly, you have the option to buyout of the DIB volunteer hours for $200.

2023 OMGAA Baseball and Fastpitch (traveling and house leagues)

DIBS PROGRAM:

DIBS Opportunities for the 2024 season will be available from September 1st, 2023 thru August 31st, 2024. The OMGAA DIBS Director will record all volunteer request and fulfilments.

DIBS Requirements:

  • 3 hours per family.
  • Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
  • $200.00 buyout per player/$400.00 max per family- if you choose this option, you will not be required to do DIBS hours.
  • DIBS check: Each OMGAA player who has not elected to buy-out, will be required to give a DIBS check of $200.00 to the DIBS Director before uniforms will be released. 
  • DIBS checks will be destroyed upon completion of DIBS requirements.
  • DIBS requirements that are not fulfilled, checks will be cashed after August 31st, 2024.

DIBS Exemptions:

  • Head Coaches, two Assistant Coaches and either a Team Manager or a third Assistant Coach are exempt from the DIBS requirement.
  • League, Program and Special Coordinators are exempt from the DIBS requirement for the current season.

2024 OMGAA House Fast Pitch Program Levels

OMGAA House Fast pitch league is a house program for girls ages 8-18.   The league focuses on teaching basic fundamentals of the sport.  Please contact the league director, Kim Reed, at Reed@omgaa.org for any questions regarding age, grade or friend requests.

8U- Sept 1, 2014 - 2017-Machine Pitch

This level will focus on the basic fundamentals such as throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, and base running.  Coaches will use a spring loaded machine to deliver pitches at a reasonable speed to encourage players to make contact with the ball and for players to field the ball.  Teams may practice 1-2 times were per week and have 1-2 games per week.  Games may be played against other communities and require travel to those communities.  

10U - Sept 1 2012-August 31 2014​​​​​​​ - Player Pitch

This level will continue to build players’ basic fundamental skills and understanding of game situations.  Additionally, this level will work to develop pitching and catching.  Players will be introduced to stealing bases at this level. Teams may practice 1-2 times per week and have 1-2 games per week.  Games may be played against other communities and require travel to those communities. 

12U- Sept 1 2010-August 31 2012​​​​​​​ | Player Pitch 

This level will continue to build players’ basic fundamental skills and understanding of the game.  Players at this level will continue to work on pitching and catching.  Teams may practice 1-2 times per week and have 1-2 games per week.  Games may be played against other communities and require travel to those communities.

14U- Sept 1 2008- August 31  2010​​​​​​​ | Player Pitch 

This level will continue to build players’ basic fundamentals.  The objective is to provide players a platform to continue to play fast pitch in a fun and competitive environment.  Teams may practice 1-2 times per week and have 1-2 games per week.  Games may be played against other communities and require travel to those communities. 

16U-2007/2008​​​​​​​ Player Pitch 

This level will continue to build players’ basic fundamentals.  The objective is to provide players a platform to continue to play fast pitch in a fun and competitive environment.  Teams may practice 1-2 times per week and have 1-2 games per week.  Games may be played against other communities and require travel to those communities.

18U-2005- 2006 | Player Pitch 

This level will continue to build players’ basic fundamentals.  The objective is to provide players a platform to continue to play fast pitch in a fun and competitive environment.  Teams may practice 1-2 times per week and have 1-2 games per week.  Games may be played against other communities and require travel to those communities.
