Champions are made in the Off-Season and 2016 / 2017 Off-Season training sure paid off. Tons of Fun & Tons of Success.
2017 / 2018 Opportunities are sure to be even better.
We are continuing to enhance our strategic partnerships and strengthening our Training & Development program. As part of these efforts we are offering the following Winter Training opportunities and extended our partnerships. Player Registration for these events will open up soon and be available on the OMGAA site.
Most camps and clinics are segmented into age groups to insure participants are similar in age and skill level. Please make sure you enroll your player in the appropriate group. For example, an 8 year old player should register with the 9u group. Other players should register for the age group they will play with during the 2018 season.
We will also have many opportunities for members to get involved in with development opportunities. Watch your emails for more details and/or contact one of the OMGAA training team members.
On Wednesday, March 14th, we wrapped up another successful OMGAA baseball winter development season. This year more than 300 baseball players participated in OMGAA clinics taking advantage of the Maple Grove dome to have fun with the game of baseball when it was literally freezing outside.
These clinics couldn’t happen without the over 2,000 hours of dedicated commitment from dozens of volunteers. Each year OMGAA tries to do something as a special thank you to them. This year OMGAA decided to raffle off two Wilson A2000 gloves ($259 retail) to volunteers. Each volunteer that signed-in at the check-in desk received one chance to win. ….and the winners this year are Toke Tezuka and Andy Skov!
Thanks again to all of our volunteers and we’ll see you at the ball field!
