Fall 2018 Fastpitch Pitching Practices in the MG Dome

Welcome to the 2018-19 Winter Pitching Clinic with Osseo-Maple Grove Athletic Association.

We are pleased to welcome back Heather Evenson and her father El Evenson as our pitching instructors! Heather and El have been leading these clinics for OMGAA for many years and we are glad to have them once again!

Heather Evenson was a Hall of famer and Record breaking pitcher for St. Cloud State University. Through countless hours of instruction and practice, Heather has become well-known throughout the twin cities for her extensive work conducting pitching clinics as well as working with pitchers on an individual basis.

Heather’s coaching experience encompasses every pitching level including 3 years at Carleton College, 11 years as a head varsity coach, and 20 years of teaching pitching at every age and level through clinics and individual practices. Some of the pitchers Heather has worked with have become nationally ranked college pitchers, top metro pitchers and strikeout leaders in the state. Heather teaches a series of progressions that place a strong focus on mechanics but focuses on the individual needs of each pitcher.

The OMGAA 2018-19 Girls Fastpitch Pitching Clinic will start Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Maple Grove Sports Dome.

The clinic will be broken out into two groups based on pitcher experience. Beginner to intermediate pitchers will meet from 7:00 – 8:00pm. Intermediate to experienced pitchers will meet from 8:00 – 9:00pm. Please sign up for the group you feel is appropriate for your child.  If Heather or El feels your daughter should be moved to a different group, they will discuss on an individual basis.
