8U and 9U House (Rookie League)

OMGAA House Rookie League

The OMGAA House Rookie League is for 8 and 9 year olds, and traditionally has welcomed students finishing 2nd or 3rd grade.

The intention of the Rookie League is to teach basic fundamentals and skills, and for coaches to introduce players to the American game of baseball!

Games will generally be in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices are held at the coach's discretion but usually happen once or twice a week.

10U House (Minor League)

OMGAA House Minor League

The OMGAA House Minor League is intended for 10-year-old athletes completing 4th grade, and for 11-year-olds finishing 5th grade who prefer a less competitive level of play.

The Minor League is intended as the next step in a player’s development after the Rookie League. Bases are set at 60’ and the pitcher’s mound 46’. The season runs from late April to the end of June.

Games will generally be in the evenings twice a week, with practices, at the coach's discretion, typically occurring once or twice a week.

*Depending on the number of players, this league could be combined with the Major League.

11U and 12U House (Major League)

OMGAA House Major League

The OMGAA House Major League is a more competitive pace of play for 11-year-olds finishing 5th grade and for 12-year-old athletes who are finishing 6th grade.

The Major League is intended as the next step in a player’s development after the Minor League.

Games will be in the evenings twice a week. Practices are at the coach's discretion but generally happen once or twice a week.

This league starts early April and, new for 2026, will run through July with playoffs happening during normal league nights in July.  This will allow for more player development and availability for make-up games throughout the season and playoffs.
